Intro of case
Abler, also known as Sportabler, is a web and mobile app designed to simplify and improve sports and leisure management. It connects club members, parents, coaches, and organizers into one streamlined platform.
Founded in 2017, Abler has grown rapidly and needed a marketing website that reflected its vision, values, and target audiences. To achieve this, Abler partnered with Kolibri to create a digital presence that is both functional and engaging.
The brand traces its roots back to the Icelandic sports movement and aims to harness technology to positively impact sports and leisure activities while solving the complexities of organizing them. Its visual identity is inspired by mobility and the lines that define sports fields—bringing clarity and simplicity to the game.

Discovery & Research – We began by understanding Abler’s audience groups and their unique needs within sports and leisure management.
UX Strategy & Design – Based on these insights, we developed a clear UX strategy that focuses on simplicity and intuitive navigation. Wireframes and prototypes were created to highlight the app’s benefits and guide users to key actions.
Brand Integration – The website design incorporated Abler’s visual identity, inspired by the mobility of sports and the defining lines of sports fields, ensuring brand consistency.
Testing & Iteration – The prototypes were tested with users and refined to create a seamless, responsive experience across web and mobile.
Implementation – Once finalized, the design was delivered and integrated with Abler’s development team, resulting in a polished, engaging, and scalable marketing website to support Abler’s rapid growth.
